As E.D. Hill continues her vacation this week, Patti Ann Browne sat in for her today. It is always a pleasant surprise when Patti Ann shows up on the screen.

Patti Ann is a fill in anchor and does some news headline updates. Her schedule is so unpredictable one never knows when she will pop up on Fox, but when she does it is like getting a special treat. Patti Ann is an attractive and charming brunette (one of the few on Fox News) that has the air of being the girl next door. She is a “Maryann” in a sea of blond “Ginger”s at Fox. Her smile alone is enough to tune in for.

Patti Ann brings a level of professionalism, class, poise and dignity to her anchoring that is seldom seen in today’s 24 hour cable news cycle where an anchor’s personality seems to be more important than their abilities as a journalist. Patti Ann always shows respect to her guests and has clear and well thought out questions. Most appreciated by this blogger is that one never feels that Patti Ann is pushing an agenda, or even a feeling of where she personally stands on an issue. A trait among anchors and reporters that is greatly missed and should be strived for by all.

This blogger feels that Patti Ann Browne is a gold standard for anchors. With her talent, looks, and professionalism Fox is missing an opportunity by not having her on as a regular anchor. This blogger always stops to watch when he sees Patti Ann is on. I imagine others do too, meaning she should be a strong ratings draw also.

After a little google searching this blogger found that Patti Ann Browne has a fan club where her weekly schedule is posted. It appears Patti Ann is scheduled for Thursday to fill in for E.D. again. It also appears that Patti Ann participates in her fan club. Is she as down to earth as she appears on screen? It seems so, and she doesn’t forget her fans! This blogger is now doubly impressed by Patti Ann.

Patti Ann also has her own wesbite where one can learn more about her.  After reading it this blogger is impressed even more. I better stop finding out more about Patti Ann or I am going to use up all my being impressed on her.
