As regular readers will know this blogger thinks Fox News anchor Patti Ann Browne is a gold standard for anchors and is very under used by Fox News, as written in a previous entry. This past weekend Patti Ann appeared as a guest on Fox News’ late night talk show ‘Red Eye’.
Previously when I have tried watching ‘Red Eye’ I have found it to be rarely funny and more often crude, juvenile and mostly intent upon shocking their viewers. Other Fox News on air talent have discussed their sexual habits, personal grooming, and taken opportunities to make vulgar sexual double entendre jokes. When I first read that Patti Ann Browne was going to be a guest I was greatly surprised because Patti Ann has always had an air of professionalism and dignity that is the opposite of what ‘Red Eye’ seemed to be achieving as a show.
After reading many good reviews of the Friday night airing I decided to watch the Sunday night rerun. This blogger was extremely impressed by Patti Ann’s performance and found ‘Red Eye’ to have vastly improved as a show. Patti Ann was always prepared with an answer to the questions asked her by the host Greg Gutfield while discussing several topics. Patti Ann also showed herself to have a wonderful sense of humor and a charming laugh. Patti Ann was the best guest of the Fox News on air talent pool this blogger has seen on the show.
With the exception of one comment made by another guest the show avoided being crude and maintained a level of intelligence and humor that was quite enjoyable. If ‘Red Eye’ can maintain this level this blogger will set the DVR to record it every night.
Not only is Patti Ann a knockout of a looker and the gold standard for anchors on Fox News, but she has shown herself to be a gold standard for guests on ‘Red Eye’ too. Hopefully ‘Red Eye’ will have her back very soon.
The management at Fox should view that episode of ‘Red Eye’ and see that Patti Ann should be used more on shows where Patti Ann is allowed to be herself and not just be an anchor for serious news.

I agree wholeheartedly! Patti ann was pure class on Redeye. None of the crudeness, high school sexual refs and stupidity so common with the other FOX anchors (which is in itself surprising). She is gorgeous and doesnt offer a peep show like others in her seat usually do. It might sound surprising but I dont want to see Suzanne Senas boobs nor do I want a b****r shot from Courtney friel. Their pandering is obvious and sad.
Patti ann does it with talent, poise and intelligence. Perhaps others just cant

Patti Ann has always set the standard as a journalist. She has always been a popular anchor and has credentials that can stand on their own against most FNC personnel. Yet for some reason she is underused at Fox. Instead of flying in out of town personnel they should look no further then Patti Ann and the rest of their underused talent in NYC.
Patti Ann had difficulties carrying her child and had to be bed ridden when she carried her now two year old child. Anyone could see the pride in her eyes when they mentioned her child. Patti Ann is indeed an exceptional mother and exceptional journalist.

I LOVE PAB! She is so down to earth. She seems like a real nice person. Not a slick “uber-newsbabe” like so many anchors. Its women like her that many young women look up to. She got where she is through hard work and determination. She wasnt handed a job after “modeling”. She is a journalist. She is a professional. She dresses conservatively because, I think, she wants the audience to concentrate on what she says and not “her”.

I like red eye. Its pretty funny. I saw Patty ann and didnt know who she was. Id never seen her before. I was instantly a fan. What a pretty woman. What a smart and engaging person she is. I havent seen her do the news yet. I hope they put her on soon. I just joined her yahoo fan club. Shes not like any other of the bleached blonde babes that Fox has. I like her.

I think it repulsive that “danny” finds something wrong with Patti Ann’s boobs or b****r. They are definitely worth watching.
