TV News Review

TVNewser has a story up about Kyla Ebbert’s appearance on the Today show on NBC and her wardrobe mishap. Kyla Ebbert is the young woman that was told by SouthWest airlines that she was dressed to provocatively to fly. During the interview Kyla stood to show what she was wearing, the same outfit she wore while on the plane. When she sat down again, a bit more than expected was shown and the audience got a glimpse of her underwear. (TVNewser seems to be happy that he had his first chance to use the word “panties” on his blog.)

Later when the segment was used the panty shot had been digitally edited and even later it was edited out and replaced with a camera shot of Matt Lauer. (No word on if he was blushing or smiling.)

Kyla appeared later in the day on Fox News’ ‘The Live Desk’ with Martha McCallum. During that interview they had Kyla in her own seperate shot proped against a stool. I guess Fox was worried about another pantyslip but didn’t want to make Kyla stand the whole time either. 
Martha expressed that she personally felt the skirt was too short for traveling in. That it was fine for a cocktail party but not travel. (This blogger would like to be invited to one of Martha’s cocktail parties if her skirts match the one worn by Kyla.)

An interesting decision by Fox. That is why I  posted the story and picture. (That is my story and I am sticking to it.)

Update: After thinking about this, (And how could I not since the news channels and the internet are burning up with the story) I wondered how SouthWest airlines thought what Kyla was wearing was too provocative? Have they ever seen what Wonder Woman wore when she flew?

And she was the pilot!
I know, you are saying but in that pic it is hard to tell what Wonder Woman was wearing. Do you have a better picture? Sure I do!

What if Kyla had been wearing a skintight blue and red bodysuit? Would they have kicked her off the plane then? Why some would say that would be down right unAmerican!

Good thing both Superman and Wonder Woman have their own transportation or they might run into the Air Wardens division of the Clothes Police.

 True Samantha Stevens wore more when she flew on her broomstick, but Elizabeth Montgomery was already “Bewitching” enough.

Yeah, all of this has gone off topic of this blog’s purpose, but it is Friday afternoon and I am a little slap happy from lack of sleep last night.
